8th Grade Art Installation

My busy bee 8th grade students are hard at work rendering their Piet Mondrian inspired cubes for their art installation for the show. These cubes are made of cardboard and painted with acrylic paint. They each have explored the use of primary colors, form, composition, and variety within these individual cubes. I cannot wait to put them together as our class installation! So exciting!

I am incredibly impressed with their progress throughout this year and appreciate how hard they have been working. Second semester since we have moved into our art room, students have blossomed with their level of creativity and self expression.

We are incredibly excited to have the opportunity to showcase their artwork: Friday, May 31rst at 5:30pm. Students and the New West Charter Visual Art team hope to see you there!
